Concentration was great and the crazies on Let's Make A Deal were most amusing. Supermarket Sweep required savvy strategy; in order to win, you had to load the shopping cart with the smallest but most expensive items thus racking up your total "bill." I'd scream at the dummies who filled their carts with paper towels or frozen turkeys.

It was a little later but let's not forget The Gong Show!

I never watched soap operas although my mother did. But it's actually surprising how many people in entertainment watch soaps!

There are some videos of outtakes from The Newlywed Game and other shows where the contestants inadvertently say outrageous things. It's probably on YouTube.

Thanks for the trip into the memory pit, Ohiogal!


ETA: Art Fleming was ten times the host that Mr. Know-It-All Trebek ever was. Sorry he's ill but he's always been pompous.
