It is akin to saying that one must procreate to fully appreciate the human experience...ergo, we cannot continue as humans unless we further the next generation as humans.

I reject that premise as I reject your premise that sexuality is an inherent expression of humanism.

There are *far* more expressions of humanism than sexuality that are specific to humans. Plenty of animals have sex, and the aren't human. Jesus, by having sex, is just as likely to be experiencing what it's like to be a dolphin, or a great ape, or a rat as he is experiencing what it's like to be a human.
