I can tell you where you can get cheap French presses. As long as you can boil water, you've got coffee.

Any of those discount stores like Big Lots, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Tuesday Morning. Generally the plastic ones are cheaper than metal and glass. Ironically, for camping or Occupy, plastic is preferable...thin pyrex glass is fragile.

Actually, on the perc-pot, if they have electricity, you can probably get one of those huge indestructible metal ones they use at banquets and the such used at a restaurant supply for about $30.
