(84,187 posts)Whatever my feelings for each of the two last men standing, I WAY sympathize with how you feel.
When you give your heart to a candidate, and he or she isn't able to go all the way, it just sucks.
Sounds like taking a day (or three) to process stuff is a good idea. Most of us are house-bound anyway. This would be a great time to catch up on rest, or old emails, or something. Finish a craft project. Watch or read the news and keep up, and maybe take some notes. it may help arm you well enough to win an argument (with someone who obviously doesn't follow facts because otherwise, why would they support trump?). Now that spring seems to be here where I live, I may do some gardening out front, when I'm not sitting at my laptop doing Indivisible work, that is.
The next few days might be THE perfect time to give yourself a time-out. Sounds like the moment to cue the vintage McDonald's fast-food jingle that starts "you deserve a break today..." And besides, if you have to "shelter in place," and you're not in the mood for McDonald's, there's always the Food Network!
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
