7. I honestly think it was less sexism, and more of the national environment.

Exit polls showed 45 percent of voters said the country is on the wrong track, and 75 percent said higher prices have had a negative impact on their lives in the past year.

And, Biden’s approval in swing states was about 40 percent.

Those are incredibly difficult political headwinds to be going up against, and she still only lost the blue wall by a point or two in each state. In a more neutral environment, she probably wins.
