Explain this one to me

Noem killing her dog makes people decide she's no longer a viable VP candidate.

While Trump arguing that he should have legal immunity to assassinate political opponents and Trump having to be talked out of having rivals and critics executed is perfectly fine for a Presidential candidate.

I guess because dogs can't vote?

A friend of my friend just texted that she's stuck on a train with an active shooter right now. In Penn Quarter. Haven't seen anything in the news about it yet.
