Minor will be charged with making dozens of racist threats to HBCUs, FBI says—
The FBI is broadening its outreach to historically Black colleges and universities at the same time the agency’s director announced that one minor will be charged with making dozens of racist threats earlier this year against more than 50 HBCUs across the country.
“We have worked with state prosecutors to ensure that that individual is charged under various other state offenses,” FBI Director Christopher Wray told the House committee on Homeland Security Tuesday, noting that the accused minor won’t be charged federally because of limitations for juveniles.
Threats against HBCUs peaked in January and February when at least 57 colleges received bomb threats via phone calls, e-mails, instant messages and anonymous online posts, according to the FBI.
More than a dozen schools had to lock down or postpone classes on the first day of Black History Month in February after at least 18 HBCUs received bomb threats.

Syria mass graves: Daunting task of searching for and naming the dead
Less than 10km (six miles) from the busy city centre of Damascus, in the north-western suburb of Adra, an arid stretch of land is sealed off with cement walls.
As you drive in, on the left-hand side, a team of rescuers from the White Helmets humanitarian organisation are seen searching for mass graves.
Over the past few days, videos have been posted online about mass graves where Bashar al-Assad's regime buried those tortured to death in Syria's notorious prisons.
In Adra, the White Helmets had found a small hole where several big white plastic bags were filled with remains of bodies.
A message simply reads: "Seven bodies, eighth grave, unknown."

Expect the reported 100,000 number to skyrocket -- BBC Radio said the estimates in these mass graves could be between 300,000 and 500,000... But nobody dare call it a "genocide"....

Since returning to DU I've been a lot more combative with you than I wanted to. I've angrily lashed out and snapped back at folks I've known 15-20 years for little to no reason. I've ruined threads with hit-and-run posts and for that I'm sorry. It's no fault of your own because I've become a much darker and cynical human than the one you knew before.
I don't think I've properly put into words just how full of blind rage I am over the way this election played out. Yes, we're all mad to some degree, but I'm "go kill a bunch of people" -mad... Like I said before, the first TFG term almost killed me and I'm not certain I'll live to see the end of a second one... It's two weeks until Christmas and I don't even fucking believe in God anymore... And yes, I'm already seeking help from a mental health professional before anyone suggests it. I just wanted to apologize and tell y'all not to take my overreactions personally...

About Donnie's connections with Epstein? The revelations in July of Donnie pretty much having Epstein on speed dial? The flight logs? The proximity of their houses? The Epstein audio interviews released a couple of weeks before the election? (That was a horrible mistake and they should have been released months if not years earlier)...
I remember when the Trumpers were absolutely fanatical about digging into Epstein's clients and who they were connected to along with all the conspiracy theories about his death... But now it's all down the memory hole?
If Trump can sidestep all consequences of the Epstein scandal despite a mountain of evidence, he truly is invincible. 😐
I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing...
But where I live, I've noticed the Trumper celebrations are much more muted this time around...? I live in an 80% Trumper neighborhood and every house except for 2-3 pulled up their Trump/Vance signs the day after the election. In 2016 they stayed up for weeks. Also I'm not hearing the excitement and fanatical enthusiasm in stray conversations anymore, but in 2016 I literally couldn't avoid them anywhere I went...

Secret Service Agent Allegedly Took Ex to Barack Obama's Beach House
A Secret Service agent violated protocol by inviting his then-girlfriend to Barack Obama’s beachfront home, a new memoir alleges.
In Undercover Heartbreak: A Memoir of Trust and Trauma, obtained by ABC News, Koryeah Dwanyen claimed that the agent—whom she referred to by the pseudonym “Dale”—invited her to the former President and First Lady Michelle Obama’s Hawaii property in 2022 while they were away.
“No one will know,” she quoted him as saying. “If anything, I’m the one who could get in trouble.”
In the book, which Dwanyen self-published Oct. 28, she also wrote that “Dale” suggested they have sex in the Becoming author’s bathroom, “like a mile-high club,” per the outlet.
U.S. Secret Service chief of communications Anthony Guglielmi confirmed to ABC News an incident similar to the one described in the memoir had, in fact, taken place, and that the agent in question was fired from his position as a result.
