lies and omissions

so much of the ugliness of America is the lies and omissions of truths of our history. Every day one can uncover the powerful and their obvious hypocrisy. It is truths such as these Sally Hemmings-type truths that DeSantis and his ilk are trying to prevent becoming the historical record of America. The white supremacy movement in this country needs to be slapped down and left in the gutter. White nationalism is not what I want to see ever again in the White House.

I read a comment

in reply to these horrendous activities, of white Mississippi police officers toward these two human beings that "retraining" with question mark might prevent these types of atrocities. Does anyone remember Emmitt Till? That is my question in relation to comments that advise retraining. Many many generations of black Americans have faced these types of gruesome agonies. And since 1619 this has been a fact. I am truly sick of the hate that was unleashed and is still being advocated by an ex-POTUS running for this nation's highest office...again. And that running for office being that clown's effort to stay out of prison.

I so wish for healing after TFG is off the stage and forgotten. At 75 I so wish for peace and discussion on how we can prevent the palpable hate simmering openly now that trump has let out of his Pandora's Box.
