It's a desire for imperialism right?

Am I wrong that all this stuff Trump is hinting out in the open, things like putting economic pressure on Canada to become the 51st state, talking about taking back the Panama Canal etc. is just basic imperialism?

Am I being over dramatic, or...

Is it possible that all this Trump talk about Panama Canal, Canada and Greenland could result in normalizing the idea that invading our neighbors is an option?

Dems need a visible candidate now for 2028, maybe even do rallies

We need a person, as soon as possible, to be the voice of reason as Trump takes this country down the proverbial drain.

He got more offended after I apologized for offending him

Had a weird conversation with a Magat. During the conversation I said something that upset him. So, I apologized that I had "offended" him.
He spent the next ten minutes angerly insisting that he never gets "offended". It was very strange. He wanted me to know he wasn't like the "Liberals" who get "offended by everything". It was like I had called him a sow boy or something. He totally equated being offended with being weak.
Very strange how some people think.

There have been a lot of turning points, but to me this is one of the scariest...

It's alarming how quickly ABC folded under Trump's phony lawsuit. Plus, that's not all. He's going after a pollster, and suing over the way 60 Minutes edited an interview with Harris. Such lawsuits almost sound laughable, but they can do severe damage even if Trump doesn't expect to win them.

If he's doing this to the large media, what does that mean for independent sources and internet podcasts that have little resources to defend themselves? How long will it be before Trump starts to go after people who do podcasts he doesn't like? All it would take is a threat in many cases.

America needed ABC to stand up to Trump's "law fair" ( the term Magats use to dismiss and ignore legitimate legal action against Trump). I'm sure ABC could have won. If not, they could have at least defended themselves honorably. Instead, Trump and his Magats are taking it as proof that the media is always lying about him.

I fear that freedom of speech is about to suffer since ABC didn't stand up for itself.

Questions about deportation that I don't hear being asked of the felon and his Magats

Trump has said that deportation will start with the "criminals". Now we all know that Trump intends to make anyone he doesn't like into a "criminal", but for the sake of argument let's just pretend he really means actual criminals. If we are to pretend Trump means actual criminals then the following questions should be asked:

If they are criminals, that means they have been caught breaking a law and are currently at some stage in our legal system. They are either awaiting trial, awaiting sentencing, or serving a sentence. At what point will they be taken out of our legal system and deported?

Does this mean that criminals will be taken out of our jails and courts, flown to other countries and set free, totally getting away with their crimes?

Will we have agreements with those other countries to carry through with any sentencing given to such criminals, or will they be essentially pardoned for their deeds?

Are other countries going to go along with the idea of the United States sending them our prisoners?

How dumb does anyone have to be to think such a plan will work?

We already know the answer to the last one, but I think it needs asked anyway.

The other side of the accusation that FEMA skipped houses with Trump signs

This Virginia non-citizen vote purge thing concerns me

It's not easy to explain how old DMV information may not match a person's current citizenship status, and how that shouldn't be the reason for purging the rolls so close to an election, and how a person may have legally become a citizen since that data was collected.

But, it's sure easy to use terms like "non-citizen" with words like "allow" to "vote" . Watch this get spun into all kinds of bullsh-t .

My Mom is questioning Trump!

I've posted before my frustration with my Mom being brainwashed by FOX. Well guess what...she's finally questioning whether she should vote for Trump.

What changed her...? The fact that Pence is not endorsing Trump! She considers Pence to be a good Christian and is questioning why he isn't good enough for Trump's VP.
